How To Draw Gerald

I thought those of you who liked Gerald the Sheep, may also be interested in knowing how he is drawn. The answer is, like this:

The ducks are all called Isaac. Years ago, Gerald and Isaac helped me with some psychological research I was doing. However, Isaac soon stopped being drawn as I find him too difficult to do on a computer (the video should make that quite apparent).

Other things you might like to know: All of my cartoons are drawn using Inkscape - an Adobe Illustrator clone that is Open Source and completely free. Also, the text document that is opened near the end contains the colour codes for the grass and sky, as I like to keep them the same in all my cartoons (it is a new addition, so many of the old cartoons do not share the same colour scheme).

Obviously, the film has been sped up – in reality it took me about 15 minutes to draw. FInally, here is the end result (click for a bigger version):
